Didn't they ask this about the Boxster?

Didn't they also ask this about the Cayenne?

Both are without doubt valued members of the Porsche family, although inevitably it was quite a number of years before "purists" accepted the mid-mounted sports car and the volkswagen 4WD SVU.   Of course the Boxster and Cayenne are popular models today, and are likely to continue to be so well into the 10's. or Whatever this decade is called.

Most photographs and illustrations really dont do the Panamera any justice - showing it as a squat, stretched Cayman (aka Boxster + Roof).  It is not until you sit in the thing, close the door, and take in the ambience of this unknown sensation of SPACE that the Panamera really begins to shine.

With models ranging from a base of 220kW (300 hp) to a blistering 368kW (500 hp) Turbo model with a top speed of 303km/hr, there is no doubt that the Panamera is a true Porsche. Agile (no, not the Scrum type...), dynamic and spacious, Porsche are clearly trying to take on the Mercedes and BMW competition head-on.
